Yes. Our help is free to families. Colorado communities pay us a referral fee after a move-in, so our recommendations are based on fit, not on fee. You never pay more in rent because you used us, and you owe us nothing if you decide not to move.

- A senior placement advisor is a local professional who assesses an older adult's care needs and budget, recommends a short list of assisted living, memory care, or skilled nursing communities that can actually accept them, attends tours, and helps with admission paperwork. Families are not charged. The community pays a referral fee after a move-in.
How do placement advisors get paid?
Assisted living and memory care communities set aside a marketing budget every year. Some of it goes to advertising and some of it goes to referral fees for advisors who bring them a resident who is a genuine fit. When your family moves in, the community pays us out of that budget.
That is the whole arrangement. There is no contract for you to sign, no hourly rate, and no invoice at the end. If you talk with us for two months and then decide to stay home with in-home help, you owe us nothing and we will still help you find a good home health agency.
Does the fee change my rent?
No. Rent and care fees are set by the community and published on their rate sheet. They are the same whether you walk in off the street, find them through an advertisement, or arrive with us.
You can verify this yourself. Ask the community for their rate sheet before you mention our name, then compare it to the numbers in your residency agreement. They will match. Our Colorado senior living cost guide shows the ranges you should expect to see.
Why is this different from national referral websites?
The large national websites work on volume. You fill out a form, your phone number goes to several communities at once, and the calls start within minutes. Nobody on the other end has been inside the buildings they just sent you.
We are three people in Greenwood Village who ran Colorado communities before we started this. We tour the buildings, we know the executive directors, and we know which ones handle a difficult night well. Your information is not sold. What should you verify with any advisor?
Ask us these five questions. Ask any other advisor the same five. The answers tell you a lot.

Ask whether the advisor has personally walked through the communities they are recommending, and when.

Ask which communities on your shortlist pay them a referral fee, and which do not.

Ask whether your phone number and information will be sold or shared with anyone else.

Ask who exactly will attend tours with you, by name, and whether they show up on move-in day.

Ask what happens if the placement does not work out in the first ninety days.
When would we tell you we are not the right fit?
When the honest answer is home care, we say home care. When someone needs a locked psychiatric setting, a hospice house, or a nursing home covered by Colorado Medicaid from day one, we say that and point you to the right caseworker or Area Agency on Aging.
